Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the founding of Grupo EULEN, the Corporate Responsibility Report 2012 covers the activities of the company during that year aimed at actively contributing to the social and economic development of the countries in which it operates, improving the life of its citizens and of future generations. This report has been rated B+ by the Global Reporting Initiative.
The 2011 report reflects a year of new challenges and projects in which a significant improvement in the customer satisfaction index was achieved. We also continued with the environmental awareness campaign launched in 2008 and new energy efficiency measures were implemented. Integration into the labor market of the most disadvantaged groups and scholarships for university students were some of the commitments of the year.
In addition to new activities involving the environment and R&D&I, this report includes among other achievements, the signing of an agreement with the Ministry of Health, Equality and Social Policy to promote the integration into the labor market of women who have been the victims of gender-based violence, and the launching of the EULEN Monitoring Program, an ambitious training project for professionals.
In 2009, the social commitment of Grupo EULEN was marked, among other things, by the agreement reached with the Superior Sports Council for the labor integration of sportspeople upon ending their sports career and supporting social and cultural projects of the Biblical Oriental Institute, the Atapuerca Foundation or the Peñacorada International College. The report also addresses issues such as ecology, investment in R&D&I and official quality certifications.
2008 was the year in which a major environment awareness and sensitization campaign was launched that would last until 2012. An agreement was also signed with the Foro Pro Clima Forum for the replacement of part of the company fleet of vehicles for less polluting ones. To this end, Grupo EULEN has implemented a Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001.
